In The Dresden Files, Butcher, despite the privilege of penning the set-up lines before his own punchlines, is simply not funny. White Night, the ninth book in the Dresden Files series, really begins to step up the game. Anyway, I just read the newest book, Cold Days. After that will be book #15 of The Dresden Files, Skin Game. Unclever people aren't, and this is the sort of book unclever people write. Heorot – (takes place between White Knight (Book 9) and Small Favor (Book 10): Again, another fun read if you haven't read it before. I love the Dresden FIles, but i have never read any of the short stories.
